Bink - 2023 Little Red
This years Little red is a blend of Red Muscat, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Meunier.
The Red Muscat was harvested at the end of Feb 28th. 50% whole bunch under 50% de-stemmed fruit into a plastic tank. Pressed off skins after 10 days ferment and filled 2 x seasoned French puncheons and one stainless steel tank. Where as the Pinot blanc and Pinot Meunier were picked together the second week of February. De-destemmed both varieties in a stainless steel tank and pressed after a half day off skin contact. Kept the juice cold and racked of gross lees after finishing ferment into old French puncheons. Wines kept on fines lees for about 3 months before blending then together, one month before bottling. Perfect chilled in warm weather.

Superb value Malbec here made by third generation Bordelais winemaker, Julien Mingot. Deep dark fruits. Think cherries and anise, balanced with a herbal and spicy lift. Softer tannin littered throughout. High quality, low price. More please!
FIN - 2023 Goth Juice
Goth Juice. A blend of Sezão (40%), Shiraz (40%) and Petit Verdot (20%). A mixture of Yarra and Nagambie fruit. Fermented separately in open top fermenters where we gently hand plunged over 8 -10 days. Raised in old oak for 8 months.
A beautiful deep ruby red hue. A berry bomb. Shiraz providing the foundation here with blackcurrant, blackberries with a hint of licorice. The Sezão bringing a lively acidity as well as doubling down on those blackberry and plum notes. The Petit Verdot offering layers of violets and earthiness.

Kizuna is a sentimental wine, a true vinous expression of キズナ. Juicy black fruits pulsing on the palate like a beating heart. A soft, curvaceous body that engulfs you in a warm embrace. Poppelvej - 2021 'Panacea' Cabernet Blend
A tête-à-tête of Cab Sauv and Cab Franc making for a swishable little Claret type thing leading into the cooler months. Medium body smoothness and the best of the two varietals. Uffe Deichmann of Poppelvej Wines makes a lot of different wines in the Mclaren Vale from a range of vineyards across South Australia. All of them are really, really good and showcase just how spellbinding a single varietal wine can be in any style. We are very glad he moved here from Denmark.
Good Intentions - 2023 Mt Gambier Pinot Noir
After the very sad destruction of boxers vineyard with the new owners ripping it out, the growers of Mount Gambier rallied around me and offered me pinot from their vineyards while my newly planted vines grow. This wine consists of 3 vineyards of mv6 and d5v12. This wine shows the 3 soil profiles of the Mt Gambier region - volcanic soils (square mile vineyard) which we used to manage, Kongorong's flint and limestone and Yahl Estate's clay soils over limestone. In our style this wine is light, soft and pretty with plush tannins. Fruit forward with Mt Gambiers unique Pinot characteristics.
